5 Tips to Organize Your Business this Year
Want to get more organized in your business this year?📑
It’s the start of a new year and that usually means we have new goals coming our way that we plan on changing throughout the year. If organizing your business and finances is one of those goals, this is the place to be.
When you set goals and manage your business more efficiently you can actually save yourself money down the road and feel less stressed.
Here are five tips where you can organize your business without spinning your wheels.
#1 Set a 90 day plan
By understanding everything you want to accomplish over the next 3 months you can better understand what your projected income will look like and where your money should be going. (Reassess every 90 days)
#2 Track your incoming and outgoing transactions each month
By doing this each month, you will find that you better understand your taxes owed and can file them a lot easier. (This is something you can hire a bookkeeper to do)
#3 Planner
Invest in a really good planner or sync all of your appointments virtually. Never miss a deadline, appointment or bill! (You can have your VA set this up)
#4 Use a team/project managing tool
My two favourite are Asana and Slack as they help keep myself and my team accountable. Many of these tools are actually free!! You don't need to hop on Zoom as often as you think. (A must in my biz!)
#5 Use systems like Dubsado to send out recurring invoices.
Stop relying on your client's remembering to pay their invoices on time. Set up automatic reminders so you don't have to spend hours keeping track of this. (Total game changer)
